Eastbourne Bandstand
welcomes you to another jam-packed summer of live music.

Built in 1935, this iconic Bandstand has fast become the south coast’s most popular outdoor music venue, hosting something to suit all ages and tastes.

This year, during May we have been chosen by the BBC to host an episode of the Antiques
Roadshow. If you have something of interest or just want to know the value, why not bring it
down and ask the experts, you may even get to appear on TV.

We welcome back our ever popular tribute nights, with more acts than ever before including
the spectacular firework finale. Fancy a night of listening to music from the Big Band era, or
perhaps an evening with the Eastbourne Gilbert and Sullivan Society?

If these aren’t your cup of tea you can always come along to our traditional afternoon concerts,
join in the unforgettable atmosphere of our Sunday Night on the Proms and 1812 Firework
Concerts.

Once again, Eastbourne Bandstand will host the popular Kids Party nights every Tuesday
throughout the summer holidays which includes free face painting for the children.

Also for 2013 you will see our bank holiday specials continue, with three acts over the May
Bank Holiday, including gold & platinum album seller Rose-Marie.  These will be followed on
the August bank holiday with our unique and exciting Electric Proms concert with Storm!

Such an exciting year and we look forward to welcoming you to the Bandstand!
