Information regarding this years program of events

During May and June the concert programme will be moved to a beach location with a stage next to the Bandstand. This is due to essential maintenance work being carried out on the Bandstand structure.

The following concerts during this period will be free of charge

• Traditional Sunday Afternoons
• 1812 Firework Concerts
• Sunday Night on the proms

You do not need a ticket for these concerts, just come along and sit on the beach. Limited deckchairs will be available to hire at £2.00 each or you are welcome to bring your own. Wheelchair users will be able to view from the lower promenade.

The following concerts will continue to be charged

• Friday Night Tribute Shows

You will need a ticket for these shows as the area will be fenced off and access can only be gained with a ticket. Limited deckchairs will be available free of charge and you are welcome to bring your own chair or blanket to sit on the beach. Wheelchair users will be able to view from the lower promenade which will form part of the venue.

The bar will be open for the tribute concerts and the usual arrangement will still apply i.e. only alcohol purchased from the bar can be consumed inside the fenced area.
